Privacy statement

Madame Pommes handles personal data with care and collects no more than it needs. The site runs entirely over an encrypted connection. This statement explains which data we process, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

1 · Who is responsible

2 · Which data, what for, and on what basis

The request form: the name of your restaurant, the name of the contact person, the city, your email address and your telephone number. We ask for nothing more. We use them to contact you and prepare a tasting. Basis: performance of, or steps prior to, a contract, article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Without these details we cannot handle your request.

Analytics cookies: data about your visit that cannot be traced back to you as a person. We use it to understand how the site is used. Basis: your consent, article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time.

Without your consent the site measures nothing.

3 · With whom we share data

We sell no data and share nothing for advertising purposes.

For hosting the site, sending email and measuring visits we engage processors. Data processing agreements are in place with them. If you would like to know which parties these are, we will name them on request.

Part of this processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

4 · How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a partnership: twelve months.

Partner data: for the duration of the partnership and for seven years thereafter, because Dutch tax law requires this for our records.

Analytics data: fourteen months.

5 · Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, and to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Where you gave consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

A message to bonjour@madamepommes.com is enough. We respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

6 · Changes

If the site or our way of working changes, we update this statement. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
