Privacy statement

Madame Pommes handles personal data with care and collects no more than it needs. This statement explains which data we process, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

1 · Who is responsible

2 · Which data we process

If you fill in the request form, we process the name of your restaurant, the name of the contact person, the city, your email address and your telephone number. We ask for nothing more.

If you consent to analytics cookies, we process data about your visit: which pages you viewed, when, on what kind of device and from which country. That data cannot be traced back to you as a person.

Without your consent the site measures nothing.

3 · Why, and on what basis

Request form — to contact you and prepare a tasting. Basis: performance of, or steps prior to, a contract, article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Analytics cookies — to understand how the site is used and where it falls short. Basis: your consent, article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time.

4 · With whom we share data

We sell no data and share nothing for advertising purposes. To run the site we engage three parties:

• Vercel Inc. — hosting of the website.
• Resend — sending your confirmation and the notification to us.
• Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics, only after your consent.

Data processing agreements are in place with these parties. In so far as data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this takes place on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5 · How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a partnership are kept for twelve months.

Partner data is kept for the duration of the partnership and for seven years thereafter, because Dutch tax law requires this for our records.

Analytics data is kept for fourteen months.

6 · Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, and to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability. Where you gave consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

A message to bonjour@madamepommes.com is enough. We respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

7 · Security

The site runs entirely over an encrypted connection. What you enter in the form goes straight to our mailbox and is not stored in a database on the website.

8 · Changes

If the site or our way of working changes, we update this statement. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
